MSI

The furiously gusting wind battered us through the harbour, the sea breeze sprayed up. I gripped tightly against the front of the barrier as the ferry was aggressively moving from side to side. My eyes were fascinated at the sight of the deep blue sea, the Wellington city, and the green island called Maui Somes Island. We slowly stopped and unboarded the ferry. After a lecture and a rule talk we were of in groups to explore the island…..

We hiked up the track, bushes, trees, plants surrounded us as well as the harmonising noises of the chirping birds. I strucked a conversation with a student's parent who nicely volunteered his time, money to accompany us on camp. We talked with interest about topics that we thought needed to be discussed. Water soon found the back of my throat turning my pain of hydration into been bloated with water. The island brought tiredness so it was the cause of many breaks.

On the way back on the ferry I thought to myself what a wonderful day on Maui Somes Island…….
