The warmth of Te Papa gave me a relaxing feeling from the harsh gusting wind of Wellington. We waited in the entrance of Te Papa and majority of the students were fascinated of a the rotating water ball sculpture in the middle of the entrance, which they were surrounding and touching it. Te Papa was a free educational historical place that was open for the public for free maybe that was the reason why so many was coming to Te Papa.? The reason why were at this building was to participate in the tarana siouris exhibition.
We were greeted by a educator doing the exhibition, he firmly but clearly stated us the question of what we know. Hands quickly were raised into the air and words flew out of our mouths, then after a talk we got given a hands on activity to sort out pacific family groups of the dinosaurs. There was agreement, frustration, arguing, suggestions and continues conversation amongst us. After the timely but interesting activity we respectively made our way up the floors to the place where the exhibition was placed.
We roamed around with our clipboards, pens, and sheet that was given to us to complete the questions. I had a sense of frustration that was annoying me as we had to hunt and write down the answers, loads of information was placed on the wall. I politely asked people for the answers some accepted but some turned there back to me, huge dinosaurs bones was over crowding me as stood tall glaring at me. I looked at them with interest they were enclosed in a glass box it made me feel like I was in the BC. I could image the loud thunderous roars of the dinosaurs been released out of there mouths. The room was filled with conversation and laughs but soon I could only hear the bitter gusting wind and the traffic of Wellington.
Wow it sounds fun, Cant wait until I am able to go there
